When using the finials on a wooden pole, a transition plate may be required to cover the cut end of the wood pole and finish the end of the pole to match the finial color. Our metal flat end covers are usually ordered slightly larger than the wood pole and feature a center hole for the finial screw to attach to the wood pole.
